Striped Jumpsuit

Finally… I think spring is really here! It was so wonderfully warm this weekend, (almost) all of the snow is gone and we spent some quality time outside. We spent most of the weekend getting our closets all set up and finishing up the office, I hope we can get the dining room done this coming week. It’s all coming together! I’ll start to actually do furnishings in the near future. Can’t wait 🙂

This adorable jumpsuit was another purchase for my cruise. It’s a terry cloth blend that is comfortable and durable, and can definitely handle getting wet. I wore this as a cover up for some of our excursions, as it’s comfortable to walk in and gives some sun protection, but is still cute and light! The draw string can be tied at the waist or hips (I have it somewhere in the middle) depending on what’s comfortable for you. This is an Old Navy find that I’m loving!!

I also picked up this cute beach bag from DSW before my trip. I love the leafy pattern, and the pink tassel! It’s got a lot of space for your poolside needs – enough room to hold a towel, SPF, etc. I’ve also been eyeing those basket bags that are so popular this summer, but I didn’t have time to find one before I left! Perhaps that’s my next purchase…

These block heeled tie sandals I love. I’ve worn them once or twice before on here, but they are SO COMFORTABLE. I can wear these for hours without any issues. Be warned though, when I first bought them I did have a “breaking in” period (unfortunately, this was during a trip to Vegas that required a lot of walking… merp), but after a day or two of blistered toes, no more issues. I think these are a nice alternative to a wedge, and could probably be worn in a more casual work environment. Love a versatile neutral shoe.
