LOL at the fact that we STILL have snow in Minneapolis. Not only do we have snow, but we got 12+ inches last weekend… it was crazy! Tucker and I were huddled inside pretty much all weekend working on house things. The bedroom is all done, the office is almost done, and then we start moving into the bigger spaces. Well, and then we have to furnish the house. I’ll definitely do some kind of “reveal” post once a room is really done, I can’t wait!
To continue with the trend from my last post, I am sharing another outfit from my cruise! I have to be honest, I’ve never worn a romper before. I’ve certainly tried them on in store, but I’ve never really found one that fit right. My torso is kind of long, so these one piece items tend to fit awkwardly, or the shorts are way too short. I definitely went out on a limb on this one, and I’m so glad I did! This olive green romper was a last minute purchase from Amazon (thanks, Prime) and I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s super comfortable, doesn’t show too much skin, and is really versatile.
The front has a snap in it, which I thought was at the right height for me. You could definitely move it lower or higher depending on your preferences, it would just take a few stitches. The shorts are a nice length so that you can sit and bend over without flashing the world (hallelujah for that!) The fabric is a thick, breathable blend that washes well. I would say it runs true to size… oh, I forgot to mention, it’s $23.99!! It also comes in black, wine, and a couple lace varieties. I really recommend giving this one a shot – there are always free returns 😉
I paired this romper with some neutral accessories. These tied top sandals were a favorite during my vacation, they are so comfortable! The block heel makes them very walkable. I’m also wearing a fun pair of feathered earrings that add a little bit of a beachy vibe. This romper is super easy to dress up or down – you could definitely add a blazer or vest and flats to make it more casual, or throw on some high heels and bright lipstick and wear it out; this is definitely going to become a new closet staple.
