Hi everyone! I got a chance to be on the other side of the lens this week and it was a lot of fun! As it turns out, posing yourself is even harder than posing the person you’re taking pictures of. So ignore the goober faces and let’s get on to the outfit.
I love this combo. It is my go-to comfy, but wanting to look professional outfit. I’m an engineer in a battery factory, so most people can keep it super casual with the dress code. T-shirts and jeans are not that uncommon, but I like to look good and feel good (most days)! This red chambray button down is one of my basics, and looks good with just about any color pant. I like wearing it by itself, but on chilly days it works perfect under a sweater. Speaking of sweaters, this quarter-zip from Banana Republic is classic and goes with anything. If you haven’t noticed, I am pretty tall, and finding sweaters that are long enough in the torso is a challenge. This one fits without it even being a tall size!
The pants are the slim fit navy chino from Gap and they are one of my favorite pants. Even better is that they are in my size. 32×36 is not easy to come by in a store, but luckily Gap offers the size online, so I was able to snag these on a good deal. I have worn the crap out of these pants, and they have been holding up great. The pants look even better cuffed over these boots. To be totally honest, I was not sold on these Frye boots when I first got them. Amelia gave them to me as a gift, and it only took about 3 wears to break them in and make them my most comfortable pairs of boots. After over a year of wearing them, the color has worn in super nice and I think they look better than ever!
