Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! This morning I have an easy Thanksgiving (or any holiday) outfit that you probably already have the pieces for. CHECK THIS OUT.
Start with the basics: dark wash skinny jeans. You probably have these; if you don’t, first you should definitely buy some for the future, but for today: wear black jeans or leggings or even black slacks will work… Though I’ll always prefer jeans or leggings on a holiday :P. Pair these with a long sleeve black sweater. The one I’m wearing is a boat neck tunic style – would definitely go well with leggings because it’s a little bit longer. Don’t have black? Grey, navy, or brown would look great too! Basically, wear a dark but neutral top and bottom that are COMFORTABLE. Then, top it off with an oversized scarf, preferably in a festive color or print. This could be a pashmina, a giant blanket scarf like I’m wearing, a knit scarf, infinity, whatever. I’m talking easy, people! The scarf I’m wearing is the ~classic~ blogger scarf (you know what I mean), I bought this a few years ago at Charming Charlies, but found very similar ones and linked them below. The red and green plain makes this a nice holiday item, but also can be worn outside the holiday season because… it’s just plaid. Anyways, as far as footwear goes, I’m wearing some cute black booties with gold details, you could wear tall boots, flats, or even cute sneakers with this depending on your style (and your events formality!). Don’t forget to wear fuzzy socks under them, because we know your grandma doesn’t want you to trudge dirt around her house! 😉
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, have a great day!
