This is the second part in the two-part series about the navy and white striped top. (See the first post here) You see this shirt styled at every store for every season – from simple tee shirts to sweaters – here are my versions for fall.
This second look is pairing the classic top with a white, chunky knit, poncho. In this outfit, the navy stripes act as a pop of interest behind the sweater, which would wash me out without the stripes. Again, I’m pairing this with my navy work slacks. On my feet, I’m wearing a cross between a brown bootie and a mule; these backless heels are so comfy, I highly recommend them. They’re great for a comfortable work shoe, and they look great with jeans too! As far as accessories go, I’m wearing a large silver watch and a couple bangles and oversized pearl earrings. I like how the earrings compete with the giant sweater, all bringing focus toward your face. I’ve topped this off with a shiny red lipstick – I’m ready for my next big meeting.
